Best of Term 2026 - The Loom

The Loom earned a Rookies Best of Term pick in 2026. It's the project where my traditional CG foundation and the new generative pipeline finally met in the middle: blocking, lighting and FX built in Blender and Houdini, with generative tools handling the rendering-heavy passes. Every shot started as a real 3D scene, which kept characters, cameras and continuity fully under my control while the pipeline did the heavy lifting. The complete breakdown, explorations and stills live on the project page.
